WHO WE ARE
The Alexandria Jaycees Foundation is a nonprofit organization, incorporated in the Commonwealth of Virginia in 2012, and is dedicated to administrating various charitable programs that will assist under-privileged and under-represented persons in the Alexandria and Northern Virginia area. This includes civic, educational and charitable programs or organizations that would advance the quality of life for the community and/or the community at large. The Foundation works closely with the Alexandria Jaycees as well as Alexandria business leaders, civic leaders and local residents developing programs. Our all volunteer board of directors helps provide both financial and manpower support at these events.
WHAT WE DO
Administer funds and manpower on an annual basis to various non-profit organizations nationwide.
WHO WE SERVE
Committed to supporting organizations and charities who assist, educate and advance the quality of life for under-privileged and under represented individuals wherever the need arises.
Our funds are awarded to organizations operating all over the country. Recipients include: The Carpenter's Shelter, The Michael J. Fox Foundation, ALS Foundation, ALIVE!, DC Diaper Bank, Arlington Food Assistance Center, Nothing but Nets, UNICEF, Rebuilding Together Alexandria, Medstreet and the South County Recovery Center.
